Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Overnight Snow Valley Colorado Basketball School at the University of Northern Colorado
• What happens after I submit my registration?
After your registration is processed, Snow Valley staff will reach out to you at the email address you gave on your registration form. This will be an acceptance letter with all pertinent details.
• What is the daily schedule?
The days typically start around 6:30 AM and run through 10:00 PM with clinics, games, study and breaks. We will upload a detailed daily schedule when we are closer to the school start date.
• What do I need to bring?
You should bring basketball gear and toiletries. We also suggest that you bring comfortable, broken in shoes and two pairs of socks and two shirts for each day of camp. Everything else is supplied.
• How do you handle roommates?
You can make note on your application before hand of a roommate preference. When you come to camp, you will be able to choose your roommate and room. If you do not have a specific roommate in mind, we will provide you with one of similar age.
• Are the rooms/gyms air conditioned?
Every dorm room used during the Snow Valley Basketball School is air-conditioned, as well as the cafeteria. The UNC facilities are NCAA Division I quality.
• Where is Snow Valley located and how do I get there?
The University of Northern Colorado is located in Greeley, Colorado, approximately 60 minutes northeast of Denver. Click here for a Google map.
• Do I need a physical?
You do not need a physical to attend camp. The only thing you need to send in is the registration form signed at the bottom with your parents insurance plan. Each athlete must be covered by his or her parents insurance program before participating in camp. A supplementary policy only is in effect. Medical aid is provided by on-site trainers and a doctor is also on call.
